Fellow B + B ers: 

It's that time again - the Bluegrass + Beyond jam takes place this Monday, the 2nd of March at Paddy Reilly's pub (SW corner of 2nd and 29th) at 7:30.

Take note of the cool attached poster art courtesy of Sarah Galloway - ready to send out to friends and relatives (especially if they don't live in NYC and you want to make them really jealous of how you spend your Monday nights - no "Green Hornet" re-runs for you! - although Bruce Lee was really good as Cato...).

Of course, the big news this week was the Oscars - and after the Krause / Plant sweep of the Grammys, putting bluegrass and beyond back into the public eye again - I was excited to see the Indian film win, making Bollywood an American household name as well. I really had no idea that there was an Indian country music star named Bolly with her own theme park keeping the roots and pop music flame lit overseas (as well as the local plastic surgery industry...)

Well, we have neither Dolly, nor Bolly... but what we do have is a lot of fun - so come on by. See you then,
